Review of Sirin Labs $SRN 03/13/2018

Before I get started, I want to remind everyone that this is not financial advice. I am not a financial advisor. If you take anything that I say to you as truth, you will get #rekt. Do Your Own Research #dyor

What is Sirin Labs and the SRN token? Normally I start these articles with a dry beginning. But after checking out this project, the only thing I can say is wow!!! What they are trying to do is amazing. According to its website, the Sirin Lab’s mission is as follows:
“SIRIN LABS’ vision is to become the world’s leader in secure open source consumer electronics, bridging the gap between the mass market and the Blockchain economy”
Their goal is to introduce new users to Blockchain technology through devices that they use every day. By introducing Blockchain this way, it will speed the adoption of both Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain technology in our everyday lives.
Fundamental Analysis:
The best part of this company is that they are actually doing the work. They are in the process of releasing a new Mobile Phone and Computer that runs on Blockchain technology. The Finney Product suite is a thin client PC and a smartphone that run on a proprietary Android OS named Sirin OS.
The Finney Smartphone ($999) will sport a 5.5-inch display, 64GB of internal storage, 6GB of RAM, 12MP main camera and a 13MP selfie camera. For security, the Sirin Labs Cyber Protection Suite will offer a number of features:
  • Physical security switch (for wallet protection)
  • Secured and Encrypted communications
  • Three-factor authentication (Bio, Lock Pattern and Behavioral)
  • Tamper-proof Blockchain functionality
  • Behavioral-based Intrusion Prevention System (IPS)
The Finney PC ($799) is an All-In-One PC. What’s interesting, is GPU/CPU/RAM can be upgraded via the Sirin Labs P2P resource sharing protocol or via the cloud. The device will sport a 24-inch 2k display, Biometric security sensors, 8GB RAM, 256GB of internal storage and 802.11 A/C Wifi. The onboard Sirin OS will sport the following features.
  • Secure P2P resource sharing
  • Built-in “cold storage” crypto wallet
  • Distributed Ledger consensus
In addition to great product offerings, there is a ton of good press about the company. With articles from EngadgetBusiness Insider, and TechCrunch, Sirin Labs has a lot of good news on the horizon and frequent public updates. After taking a look at their roadmap and reading recent articles, I believe Sirin is on target to meet their goals.

Technical Analysis:

Using SMA50, EMA50, BB20, and Stochastics, we can see that $srn is almost overbought. This 3-month overview also shows horizontal movement in price since the beginning of February. With Bolinger Bands tightening and high sell volume, I’d expect this price to move slightly down to around 0.0010–0.0015 $ETH before volume and volatility increase. *This is not investment advice. #dyor
Assessment:
I make it a habit of being as independent as possible when reviewing coins, tokens and ICO’s. I never want to be accused of leading someone down a road to financial ruin. With that said, I really believe in this project. I believe in the tech and the hardware that Sirin Labs is offering to the masses. This may arguably be one of the most ambitious projects in the Blockchain space. They have a big support team, an aggressive timeline, lots of buzz and good partnerships. I will never suggest you, the reader, invest in any project. However, I will be investing in this project. I will also be purchasing the hardware when it is finally available. Thanks for taking the time to read this article. Stay tuned for the next one.
